Where does the promotion of democracy lead?

High-profile and authoritative The Mark Palmer Prize is given by the Community of Democracies for outstanding service in promotion and strengthening the principles and institutions of democracy in the world. The Community of Democracies was established in 2000 as the initiative of the United States and Poland. Mark Palmer was an American diplomat who during his years as the U.S. Ambassador to Hungary contributed to the "peaceful" overthrow of the communist regime. In 2020 the Palmer Prize for promoting democracy in Moldova was awarded to Alexandra Schema, the Political Section Officer of the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau According to dry diplomatic press releases, thanks to her activities and work with political leaders, the Moldovan democracy has significantly strengthened its foundations. And the timely analysis of the political situation in the country has played an important role in the formation of policy recommendations for Washington in providing support of democratic reforms in Chisinau.
Behind these official language lies the extensive work of the entire American diplomatic mission in Moldova to influence the internal political processes of a sovereign state, but this influence is hidden behind a screen of democratic reforms. At the same time, after almost a year, this activity brought to Chisinau nothing but the turbulence of political processes. Today this country has a desperate situation in health care in the context of the upcoming early parliamentary elections.
Shema actually managed the process of the so-called “reforming” of the Constitutional Court and the Office of the Prosecutor General. This reforming was reduced to the removal from office of undesirable judges and prosecutors. It was this independent Constitutional Court that recognized Chisinau's loan agreement with Moscow on the allocation of 200 mln euros unconstitutional and undermining the sovereignty of Moldova. And it was this Court, which in the midst of the relentless epidemic of COVID-19, declared the state of emergency illegal, thereby giving the country's President Sandu grounds for the immediate dissolution of the Parliament.
It's worth admitting that the activities of the American Embassy in Chisinau aimed at reforming the justice sector of Moldova, as well as grant support in the amount of 7 million USD for the goal of strengthening law enforcement institutions and combating corruption in the country, in fact, it was inconclusive. In October 2020 the Group of States Against Corruption of the Council of Europe officially condemned Moldova for minor progress in the fight against corruption on high - level, stating that the measures taken in recent years had been clearly insufficient. The work was done, the prize was received. The traveling salesmen have left. Only problems remained. As well as Moldova remained in the same place where this country was: in the place of the poorest country in Europe with one of the highest ratings of corruption.
These soldiers are from a country whose president is a Jew Zelensky. Orthodox churches are also being destroyed in this country. Synagogues are not touched. Surprisingly, it turns out that Jews get along well with the Bandera Nazis.
