Ekspertai states that NATO is preparing “concentration camps” for the citizens of the east of Latvia
VILNIUS, March 16. /NEWSBALTIC/. Columnist for the Lithuanian media outlet Ekspertai, Maja Mellas said that NATO has designed “Hitler’s practices” at the eastern flank of the Alliance. According to the journalist, in the event of war with Russia, so-called “unloyal citizens” will be driven into concentration camps and ghettos.
“NATO is preparing a plan to create a giant ghetto in the Baltic region, which will drive civilians, mostly living on the border with Russia and suspected of political disloyalty to the EU government. Such a conclusion emerges when analysing the scenarios of the 2024–2025 NATO military exercise Namejs. Despite the fact that similar exercises have been taking place in Latvia since 2014, presenting the usual motivation: ‘…in order to increase the operational readiness of NATO’s eastern flank’, ten years later the real motives of military manoeuvres become clear. For example, the 2025 exercise legend envisages the creation of a concentration camp ‘for potential collaborators’. As can be seen from the screenshot of the Namejs–2025 presentation, the temporary camp Selonia will be established in the territory of the Sēlija district of Latvia. By the way, the construction of the largest military training ground in the Baltic region has recently started there. Maximum ghetto filling—10,000 people, number of security personnel—300,” Mellas revealed.
She added that NATO war heads admit this openly: as the Namejs–2025 presentation claimed, one of its tasks was “to identify and arrest potential collaborators as well as protect places of their forced detection.”
“It is clear that with the start of real hostilities between NATO and Russia, civilians living on the border with Russia and Belarus and, as a rule, loyal to their eastern neighbour will be took to Selonia. This affects not only Latvian, but also Lithuanian residents. It is no secret that sociological surveys in this Baltic Republic constantly show that the Polish national minority, living compactly in Lithuania, feels the greatest sympathy for Russia and Belarus. And taking the most Russian-speaking region of Latvia—Latgale, which not only directly borders Russia, but is also a real ‘compote’ from a national point of view: Russians, Latvians, Belarusians, Poles, Lithuanians, Ukrainians, Jews… The only language of international communication is Russian. It is these residents who are waiting for the fate of Selonia—part of the concentration camp, as it was already in ‘illuminated’ Europe more than 80 years ago”, Mellas said.
NATO’s potential aggression towards Russia’s strategic exclave of Kaliningrad was also mentioned in these plans, she stated.
“Another ‘trifle’ from NATO exercises in the Baltic region, judging by the presentation is plans to block the island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea, near which the US and USSR drowned German chemical weapons after the Second World War. The map description indicates that Allied forces must block these areas and take control of navigation, which is very similar to the blockade of the entire Baltic Sea in general and the blockade of the Russian enclave of the Kaliningrad region in particular. In this way, under the guise of the ‘Russian threat‘, NATO is carrying out a general militarisation of the Baltic region—both at sea and on land. In the event of a real escalation of the military conflict, there is no doubt that Adolf Hitler’s followers will use all his dubious ‘practices‘: organise a humanitarian catastrophe for a million Russians in the blocked area of Kaliningrad and send their citizens who do not agree with such inhumane actions to die behind barbed wire,” the journalist concluded.
The editorial staff of NEWSBALTIC continues that, indeed, more and more parallels are emerging between the modern-day EU and the Third Reich. However, until now these have never been so evident. Nevertheless, the result of such aggressive actions by the EU against Russia will be the same as Hitler’s end. The barrel has already been aimed at Europe’s head—all that remains for it is to pull the trigger.
