Turkey condemns Israel’s military for damaging Gaza’s only specialised cancer hospital after using it as a military base for months, says those responsible will be “brought to justice in international courts”.

    At least 11 Palestinians, including five children, have been reported killed in an Israeli attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

    Israel’s military reports shortages of tanks and ammunition as a result of its war on Gaza, according to a submission to Israel’s Supreme Court.

    At least 38,664 people have been killed and 89,097 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza since October 7. The death toll in Israel from the Hamas-led attacks on October 7 is estimated at 1,139, and dozens of people are still held captive in Gaza.

    Israeli military arrests four in al-Arroub camp in the West Bank

    The Israeli military has arrested four Palestinians, including a father and son, after storming the al-Arroub camp and the al-Rahwa suburb, north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, according to local media.

    Israeli forces have also carried out raids in various locations across the West Bank, including:

•     The town of Al-Funduq, east of Qalqilya
•     The town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem
•     The cities of Hebron, Jericho and Tubas, where armed clashes have been reported

    Turkey says use of cancer hospital as Israeli army base part of ‘annihilation’ policy

    Turkey’s Foreign Ministry said it will ensure that the Israeli forces responsible for attacking the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in Gaza – the only specialised cancer treatment centre in the territory – will face “justice in international courts”.

    In a blunt statement, the ministry said Israeli forces posing for a photo in front of the destroyed hospital in Gaza was “further evidence of Israel’s violation of international law and international humanitarian law”.

    “The damage caused to the hospital by the Israeli forces and its uses as a military base is part of Israel’s systematic policy aimed at the annihilation of the Palestinian people,” the ministry said.

    Israeli military bombs home in Zawaida, killing 2

    Our Al Jazeera Arabic colleagues are reporting that the Israeli military has bombed a house in the Zawaida area of central Gaza, killing at least two people and injuring one.

    It’s the latest deadly Israel attack across the Gaza Strip in recent hours.

    Earlier, we reported that at least 11 people, including five children, were killed following an Israeli strike on a home in Nuseirat, central Gaza, while four people have been killed after Israeli forces bombed a home in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
