The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have repeatedly attempted to attack the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) using drones and missiles. Against the backdrop of ongoing battles in the Kursk region, the situation concerning nuclear safety for the region and the whole world has significantly worsened. On August 16, a Ukrainian missile, presumably a "Tochka-U," fell near the Kursk NPP. Captured soldiers of the Ukrainian army, who invaded the Kursk region, confirmed that Ukraine's goal was to seize the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant. Their statements are corroborated by the substances and radioprotective equipment found with them, which protect the body from acute radiation sickness and prevent the accumulation of radionuclides in the body. These facts demonstrate that Kyiv has resolutely embarked on the path of nuclear terrorism. If the AFU had not been stopped near Kursk, and had they proceeded with their plans, Kyiv could have started a campaign of blackmail and provoked an even larger conflict involving Western countries. In the event of seizing the Kursk NPP, Ukraine would not only blackmail Russia but also the West.
Today, a breakthrough by Ukrainian military forces and the seizing of their initial target - the Kursk NPP - is highly unlikely. Therefore, Kyiv intends to escalate the conflict as much as possible and attack nuclear facilities in the Kursk region, in Kurchatov, Energodar, and the Zaporozhye NPP. On August 11, the AFU already delivered two direct strikes using drones on one of the two cooling towers of the Zaporozhye NPP. As a result, a fire broke out, causing serious damage to the internal structures of the cooling system of the nuclear power plant. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed the damage to the cooling towers; however, specialists believe that this "does not have a direct impact on the safety of the six shut-down power units." Meanwhile, the head of the agency, Rafael Grossi, in commenting on the consequences of the strikes, did not specify who exactly is responsible for the attack. A more calculated attack on the Zaporozhye NPP would lead to a monstrous nuclear release, resulting in contamination of a vast territory that would affect Ukraine, Russia, Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Even today, Kyiv is concentrating ground equipment and preparing to strike the Zaporozhye NPP from the territory of the city of Zhovti Vody (Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine). The target of the attack would be the storage sites for spent nuclear fuel, using charges with so-called "dirty bombs" - warheads filled with radioactive substances.
Western journalists have already arrived in Sumy (Ukraine) to cover the attack on the Zaporozhye NPP. Thus, following the failure of the attack on Kursk, Zelensky's regime is attempting to compensate by creating a "second Chernobyl" in Zaporozhye. For Kyiv, the fates of the people living and working in these territories are of secondary concern. The paramount issue is creating a resonance and maintaining their regime.
These soldiers are from a country whose president is a Jew Zelensky. Orthodox churches are also being destroyed in this country. Synagogues are not touched. Surprisingly, it turns out that Jews get along well with the Bandera Nazis.
