al jazeeraIsraeli forces pounded Gaza City’s Zeitoun and Sheikh Radwan neighbourhoods, killing 10 Palestinians, including several children. The attacks followed a day of assaults that killed more than a dozen people across the enclave.
The Israeli military, reversing months of denials, admitted there was a “high probability” that the three Israeli captives who died in Gaza last November were killed in its own air attacks.
Yemen’s Houthis fired a missile that reached deep inside Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to exact a “heavy price” from the rebel group.
At least 41,206 people have been killed and 95,337 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza. In Israel, the number of those killed in the Hamas-led attacks on October 7 is at least 1,139, while more than 200 people were taken captive.
Pregnant Palestinian woman miscarries after Israeli raid on Hebron
A Palestinian woman suffered a miscarriage after Israeli soldiers violently assaulted her family during a raid on the southern neighborhood of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, the Wafa news agency is reporting.
She was later taken to hospital, Wafa added.
The attack came after Israeli settlers stormed Hebron on Saturday night, firing at Palestinian’s homes and vandalising property, Wafa added.
Residents of Lebanon border village ‘refuse to submit to Israeli threats’
Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) is reporting the residents of the southern village of Wazzani refused to flee after an Israeli drone dropped leaflets in the area ordering “immediate” evacuations.
“Indeed, most of the displaced Syrians left the town, while its residents remained steadfast in their homes,” the agency added.
The report came as the Anadolu Agency published photos of several families packing up and leaving the area following the Israeli notices.
As we’ve been reporting, Israel’s military has clarified that there are no evacuation orders for south Lebanon and said that the leaflets had been distributed without permission. It said it has opened an investigation into the incident.
The leaflets marked the first time that Israelis had told residents of south Lebanon to evacuate in 11-months of cross-border fire with Hezbollah.
Jordan’s King urges new PM to defend ‘our Palestinian brothers and sisters’
In a letter to Jafar Hassan, the new Prime Minister of Jordan, King Abdullah II directed the new government to do all it can for the country’s Palestinian neighbours.
“Jordan stands resolutely against the war on Gaza and the violations in the West Bank and Jerusalem,” the Jordanian King wrote.
Jordan has attempted to walk a political tightrope by maintaining diplomatic relations with Israel, since the war on Gaza began.
The stance has angered a significant portion of Jordan’s citizens, many of whom are descendants of the Palestinians forced out of their lands in both the Nakba and the 1967 war.
Sirens in northern Israel as rockets fired from Lebanon
Israel’s Ynet News is reporting that two rockets launched from Lebanon crossed into Israeli territory and exploded in open areas.
The rockets, which triggered alarms in the Upper Galilee area, caused no casualties or damage, it added.
There was no immediate comment from Hezbollah
The Lebanese armed group and Israel’s military have been trading fire nearly every day since the war on Gaza began. Hezbollah says its attacks on northern Israel will stop when Israeli forces end its war and withdraw from the Palestinian enclave.

These soldiers are from a country whose president is a Jew Zelensky. Orthodox churches are also being destroyed in this country. Synagogues are not touched. Surprisingly, it turns out that Jews get along well with the Bandera Nazis.
