Gaza’s civil defence has warned of mass casualties after the Israeli military blew up a dozen residential buildings in northern Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp in an attack described as a “major massacre”.

    Three journalists covering Israel’s war on Lebanon have been killed in an apparent targeted Israeli strike on their accommodation in Lebanon’s southern Hasbaiyya area.

    An Israeli delegation will travel to Doha on Sunday after Qatar and the United States announced that negotiators will gather in Qatar’s capital to try and restart talks to bring about a ceasefire in Gaza.

    Israeli attacks have killed at least 19 people across Lebanon over the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll since the start of the war in October 2023 to 2,593.

    In Gaza, at least 42,847 people have been killed and 100,544 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023. An estimated 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks and more than 200 were taken captive.

    The Israeli military has bombed the Farra family home in the Qizan an-Najjar area east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing at least three people and injuring five more, according to Gaza’s civil defence agency.

    Teenager wounded during Israeli raid in Hebron

    Israeli forces stationed at al-Kassara junction, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, have fired at a 16-year-old, wounding him in the foot, the Wafa news agency reports.

    A Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) crew has transported the teenager to hospital, where his injuries have been described as “minor”.

    Israeli forces have also stormed the towns of ad-Dhahiriya, Beit Ummar and Suhair in Hebron governorate.
